Squier Classic Vibe ’50s Telecaster 5 way switch mod

A current project, upgrading my Squier Classic Vibe ’50s Telecaster to a 5 way switch. Classic Vibe '50s Telecaster 5 way switch mod peavy omniac jerry donahue tele wiring

I had to improvise, still waiting on the small resistors. I’m using the “Oak Grigsby 4-Pole, Double Wafer, 5-way Super Switch”. Fairly acceptable soldering job… 🙂

I decided on trying the Tele 5 way wiring PeaveyOmniac [Found here: http://www.redherring-tonebones.com/jerry-donahue-telecaster-wiring-2/]

I also changed the pickups, I found a good deal on a used, “D. Allen WCT BluesCat” for the neck and a “Seymour Duncan Little ’59 Tele” for the Bridge. (I don’t need any country twang – we’ll see).

UPDATE : 2016-08-03
I ended up having issues with the size of the 5 way switch above, it didn’t really fit in the cavity, when I did get it to fit, I would lose some setting sounds, probably because of wires touching, anyway, I ended up getting a standard 5 way switch and going with this wiring instead.
